Nadya Rousseau is the founder and CEO of the purpose-driven marketing and media company Alter New Media. From a young age, she was drawn to telling stories. She initially worked as an actor, freelance journalist, and multimedia producer before shifting her focus to the world of digital marketing and business development. She has worked with incredible clients, from trailblazing startups and national corporations to nonprofit organizations, dynamic entertainers, realtors, and world-renowned events, including Fashinnovation NYC and Outer Edge LA (fka NFTLA).
To ensure a commitment to the company ethos, “purpose and profit are never mutually exclusive,” Nadya created Purposeful Partnership, a unique approach to publicity that partners nonprofits with for-profits in strategic marketing campaigns. Partnerships have included American Kidney Fund, The Chill Foundation, Dress for Success, and many others.
Nadya’s business opinions have been highlighted in Forbes, CNBC, American Express Open Forum, Voyage LA, and Honeysuckle Magazine. She has additionally partnered with significant social media campaigns, such as The Nylon Project’s fashion initiative “#Itcanbeyou,” which shed light on the homelessness epidemic, and DELL Small Business’s Pride 2021 campaign. When she’s not working, she can be found crushing a workout in her neighborhood Orange Theory, drinking espresso, or writing fiction.
